Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, via its Bharat pilgrimage tourist trains, have begun reservations for four new tourist packages for the months of June - July.Starting June 5, the tour covering Shirdi, Pandaripuram, and Mantralayam for eight days would cost Rs 4,435.
Another tour package on June 16 for twelve days, covering Puri, Konark, Bhuvaneshwar, Guwathi, Kolkata, cost Rs 6,660. From July 1, a nine-day tour covering Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Badrachalam, Puri, Vishakapatnam, Annavaram, cost Rs 4,980. And finally starting July 10, a 15-day tour which include Dwaraka, Ujjain, Madhura, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Varnasi and Kanchipuram, cost Rs 8,335.
For all tours, trains leave from Madurai, stopping at Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem and Chennai. The tour cost is inclusive of train fares, group accommodation, south Indian vegetarian food and tourist bus facility.
