SPECIAL TRAIN

To clear the rush of passengers, South Western Railway will run a one-way express special train from Yeshwantpur to Visakhapatnam (Train No. 6525) on Thursday. The train will leave Yeshwanthpur at 10.10 p.m. on Thursday and reach Visakhapatnam at 10 p.m. on Friday. En route, the train will arrive/depart at Dharmavaram at 2.45 a.m./2.50 a.m.; Dhone at 5.40 a.m/5.50 a.m.; Nandyal at 7.20 a.m./7.25 a.m.; Cumbam at 9.06 a.m./9.07 a.m.; Markapur Road at 9.41 a.m./9.42 a.m.; Vinukonda at 10.56 a.m./10.57 a.m.; Narasarapet at 11.37 a.m./11.38 a.m.; Guntur at 12.55 p.m./1.15 p.m.; Vijayawada at 2.15 p.m./2.30 p.m.; and Rajahmundry at 5.45 p.m./5.47 p.m.

Extension of Summer Special Trains

Railways have decided to extend the run of summer special trains between Dadar and Sawantwadi Road to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:



01003 special train will leave Dadar at 7.50 am o­n 4.6.2013 & 7.6.2013 (2 trips) and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 8.15 pm same day.

01004 special train will leave Sawantwadi Road 5.00 am o­n 5.6.2013 & 8.6.2013 (2 trips) and will arrive Dadar 4.00 pm same day.



HALTS: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilawade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Zarap.

Train No.05034 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Bi-weekly summer special express will depart from Bandra Terminus o­n every Tuesday & Friday at 05.10 hrs to reach Gorakhpur at 18.45 hrs next day from 12thApril to 02nd July, 2013.

In return direction, train No. 05033 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Bi-weekly summer special express will depart from Gorakhpur o­n every Wednesday & Sunday at 07.10 hrs and will arriveBandra Terminus at 17.35 hrsthe next day from 10th April to 30thJune, 2013.

The train will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Second Class Sleeper &Second class general coaches.

Summer Specials from Western Railways

To facilitate passengers during summer vacation, Western Railway will run summer special trains to Indore, Okha & Bhavnagar from Bandra (T).


Bandra ( T ) – Indore Weekly Special

Train No. 09301 Bandra (T)- Indore Weekly Special train will leave Bandra Terminus at 12.25 hrs o­n every Mondayfrom 08th April , 2013 to 01st July,2013 and will reach Indore at 03.30 hrs o­n next day.

Similarly, Train No. 09302 Indore - Bandra (T) Weekly Special train will leave Indore at 17.25 hrs o­n every Sunday from 07thApril, 2013 to 30th June, 2013 and will reach Bandra (T) at 10.40 hrs o­n next day.

This train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain and Dewas in both direction.

It will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, Sleeper class and 2nd class general coaches.

Similarly, Train no 09562 Okha – Bandra (T) Weekly Special train will depart from Okhaat 11.25 hrs o­n every Tuesday from 2nd April, 2013 to 25th June, 2013 and will reach Bandra (T)at 07.35hrs o­n the next day .

The train halts at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad , Navsari , Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendra Nagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, Khambalia and Dwarkastations in both the directions.

Spl train between Bandra tr. to Bhavnagar

For the convenience of the passengers and to clear the extra rush Western Railway has decided to run special train between Bandra Tr- and Bhavnagar.

Train No.09231 Bandra (T)-Bhvnagar Weekly Special will leave Bandra (T) o­n every Monday at 12.55 hrs to reach Bhavnagar , the next day at 04.10 hrs from 25th Februarary to 1st April, 2013. Similarly, in return direction, Train No.09232 Bhavnagar -Bandra (T) weekly special will depart from Bhavnagar o­n every Sunday at 17.05 hrs and arrive Bandra Terminusat07.35 hrs , thenext dayfrom 24th February to 31st March, 2013 .

The train will have AC II, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

EXHIBITION SPECIAL TRAINS - SANSKRITI EXPRESS

SANSKRITI EXPRESS - RABINDRANATH TAGORE

The Exhibition special train - Sanskriti Express is visiting Southern Railway. This train consists of coaches in which photographs, write-ups etc. are exhibited to project the life, works and message of Rabindranath Tagore.

This train is a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore from Indian Railways on the occasion of his 150th Birth Anniversary. Throwing light on the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore. The mobile museum is visiting all parts of the country. The Sanskriti Express is now in this part of the country, visiting various towns over Southern Railway, enlightening and inspiring people from all walks of life.The exhibition will be open for the public from 10.00 am to 08.00 pm.

Central Railway announced 2 Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Nagpur as Diwali Special.

TRAIN DETAILS

Train No.01303 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on Saturday(10-11-2012)at 00.50 am and will reach Nagpur at 03.00 pm on the same day.

Train No.01304 will leave Nagpur on Saturday(10-11-2012) at 04.15 pm and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 08.15 am on Sunday(11-10-2012).

Railways have decided to run 2 reserved special trains and 2 unreserved special trains between Pune – Patna to clear the extra rush of passengers during festival season.  The details are as under:
